Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day accounting for the company as well as the clients
  • Lead a team of accounting staff to ensure quality of work and implement best accounting practices.
  • Responsible for finalization of accounts, preparation of financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
  • Responsible for GST and Direct tax filling, including ITR for companies and individuals
  • Responsible for accounts payable and reconciliation
  • Manage team of Accountants
  • Key account management (Single point of contact for key accounts/clients)

Other Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate with vendors and other business affiliates
  • Contributes in improvement of internal controls
  • Assists in financial planning and budgeting process for the company
  • Responsible for co-ordinate with internal and external auditors for resolving queries
  • Provide assistance to the team and clients in regulatory and compliance matters 

Requirements:

  • Hands on experience with leading accounting software(s) like Tally and Quickbooks, Cloud based software experience is a great plus
  • Strong hold on taxation related matters, including various applicable taxation benefits available to startups, and MSMEs
  • Understanding of accounting systems, chart of accounts, various accounting and other modules. Experience of working with leading ERP/CRM system a major plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of GST required to handle GST registration and returning filling
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of post- qualification experience with a reputed CA firm
