Mr. Nanavati is a litigation lawyer having a vast experience of practicing before various courts across the country. In 2006, he was appointed as a Panel Advocate for State of Gujarat in Supreme Court of India. He was also appointed as the Standing Counsel for Employee Provident Fund Organization, Delhi High Court as well as the Central Government Pleader for High Court of Delhi. He was a panel advocate for Delhi Development Authority and Delhi Legal Services Authority for High Court of Delhi. He has also worked as an Additional Public Prosecutor, State of Gujarat for the High Court of Gujarat.

Apart from having successful private practice in Commercial Laws, Dispute Resolution, Civil and Administrative Law, Service and Labour Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, Criminal Law and Corporate Laws where he has represented clients like ABG Shipyard Limited, JBF Industries Limited, Essel Utilities Limited, Rough Infrastructure Limited, IRB Infrastructure Limited, Selan Exploration Limited, Star India Private Limited, Alstom India Limited etc., he is also a Panel Advocate for various state authorities like National Highways Authority of India, Vadodara Municipal Corporation, Gujarat Narmada Valley & Fertilizers Company Limited, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, Gujarat Industries Power Corporation Limited, Gujarat Green Revolution Company Limited and many others. He is also the special counsel for the State Tax Department, Gujarat and represents the department before various National Company Law Tribunals and Appellate Tribunal.
